Walking 10,000 Steps
Accumulating 30 minutes of exercise (exercise minutes tracked via an Apple Watch or Fitbit)
Taking class at a Vizer partner studio
Step Two: Give
Every day you reach your goal and tap Donate, Vizer partners donate a meal on your behalf.
Vizer sponsors are values-driven brands who share our vision of making the world a healthier place - one person, one meal, and one community at a time. When you donate your meal in-app, you will see a confirmation screen naming the brand that sponsored the donation on your behalf and the non-profit organization distributing the meal.
Why Health and Hunger
Exercise and nutrition are the fundamental building blocks of a healthy life, but 1 in 5 children do not have access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle. For children whose families have limited income, accessing healthy food can be a daily challenge. The impacts of food insecurity on physical health, mental well-being, and student behavior are deep and long-lasting.
The Process: From Fitness to Fork
As a Vizer user, your daily exercise funds meal donations. Our non-profit partners use this funding to source and deliver nutritious meals into the hands of people who need them most. Included in this number are children, military families, veterans, college students, seniors, disabled, and homeless populations.
Meals earned on Vizer are distributed by U.S. food banks to populations combating food insecurity.
