What We're Snacking On: Core Foods

In my opinion, there are few things in life that are more satisfying than a healthy snack.

I know what you’re thinking. But Sam! What about travel, Disneyland, and the feeling of falling in love?

I agree - all of those things are amazing - but every experience we have in life is made better or worse by our physical health. How we feel physically impacts our energy levels, how we show up, and the way we interface with our world.

We’ve all seen the classic SNICKERS® bar commercial: “You’re not you when you’re hungry.”

But where SNICKERS® misses the mark, is that you’re also not the best you when you’re lacking key nutrients. When our diet is nutrient-deficient, our minds and bodies undergo serious challenges. We experience fatigue, brain fog, decreased mood, muscle weakness, digestive issues and more.

Something as simple as a quick, easy-to-grab snack can decide whether you fall into a slump or keep your momentum high. But finding the healthy ones - that's where the discernment comes into play.

I recently encountered a new snack that I am obsessed with - Core Bar - a flavorful, nutrient-dense powerhouse mix of natural ingredients packed into bar form.

I have two rules about ingredients in the foods I consume:
